Sikinos is an island untouched by tourism. It lies in the middle of the Aegean Sea, between Folegandros and Ios and constitutes the ideal destination for a peaceful holiday. Its landscape is dry and rocky and its few inhabitants usually make their living from fishing and agriculture. Do not expect luxurious tourist amenities on Sikinos, just pure nature and a traditional way of life.

Almost all beaches of Sikinos are isolate and difficult to go. You can take the boat or just walk there, as the roads on the island are dirt. The most famous beaches of Sikinos are Malta and Dialiskari. Note that you have to take supplies with you, because the beaches are not organized.
