Chania Koutelos beach

General information

Koutelos Beach is a small, secluded shore located 76 km south of Chania Town. The water is crystal clear, boasting a lovely dark blue color, and the beach is rocky, covered in gray pebbles. It is not organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, which means you should bring your own things to feel comfortable. However, you can always benefit from the natural shade provided by the tamarisk trees adorning the coast.

The area is not very touristically developed, so you won’t find any facilities nearby. The closest hotels and restaurants can be found in Frangokastello, which is has evolved into a lovely tourist resort.
