Day 1
Drive through the coastal road from Athens to the Corinth Canal (short stop), the spot that divides Peloponnese from mainland Greece. We continue to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient Theatre, famous for the wonderful acoustics. Then we arrive to the town of Nafplion (short photo stop), the and#8220?Naples of Greeceand#8221? as the Venetians used to call it. We continue to the archaeological site of Mycenae to see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion Gate, the Royal Tombs and the Archaeological Museum. Then we depart for Olympia crossing Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Dinner and Overnight in Olympia.
Day 2
In the morning, visit the Archaeological Site of Ancient Olympia and the interesting Museum. We continue driving through the large plains of Ilia and Achaia and we cross the cable bridge of Rion Antirrion. Pass by the lovely towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea and arrive in Delphi in the evening. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3
In the morning, we visit the Archaeological Site of Delphi to see the Temple of Apollo, the Ancient Theatre, the Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then we depart for Kalambaka, a small town in Thessaly built at the foot of the astonishing rock complex of Meteora. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 4
In the morning, we visit Meteora to see the Byzantine monasteries built on top of huge rocks and enjoy the magnificent view to the valley beneath. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see Leonida’s Monument) and arrive in Athens early in the evening.

N.B. Ladies need a skirt to visit the Monasteries of Meteora and gentlemen need long trousers. Clients staying at the coast will depart for their hotels, from G.O.TOURS terminal around 19.30 hrs.
