The Windmill Restaurant is located high above Skiathos Town. The windmill, originally built in 1880, is one of the oldest buildings on Skiathos. It was a working mill until 1946, and was carefully restored to a restaurant in the 1990’s.

Our tables are situated on different levels, overlooking the magical Aegean and nearby islands, providing one of the most beautiful 360 degree panoramic views you’ll ever experience in a restaurant.

Our sittings begin at 18.45hrs with last sitting at 21.30hrs. Bookings are recommended, particularly for the honeymoon table.

Our highly skilled professional team provide world class service. Our Chefs have a wide range of culinary cuisines offering rich flavours from around the world.

The Windmill Restaurant is a family run restaurant.

Scottish born Karen has worked in The Windmill Restaurant since 1996 (under previous owners), buying the business in 2008.

Karen arrived on Skiathos on a family holiday in 1986, met islander husband Makis. Karen and Makis welcomed son Yiannis into the family in 1991.

Karen is super proud of Yiannis, now a qualified chef, who has played an important role within the chef team since 2011.
