How to move around Poros

Public transportation is an affordable and at the same time amusing way to move around!
You don't need to pay for a ticket as the bus service runs for free.
Keep in mind, though, that the bus follows a circular route around the town and can't get you to spots outside of it.

At the port of Poros, you will find some water taxis that can transfer you to nearby locations like Galatas.
It is recommended to arrange any transfer in advance if you visit during the high season.

A taxi might be a more expensive option, compared to buses, for instance. However, it is a choice that offers easy and fast transfer to your destination.

With a car or motorcycle, you can explore the island at your own pace and gain access to the most secluded spots! In case you don't have a vehicle, renting one for your sightseeing trips is recommended!
Car rental is not very popular in Poros, but there are some car rental offices in Poros Town and the busy resorts.
