Poros Agios Stefanos beach

General information

Agios Stefanos is the only beach on the Sferia island of Poros, just outside the main town. The beach is fairly small, however, it is easily accessible, about a 10-minute walk from the center, and therefore a fan favorite among the locals.

Agios Stefanos is situated next to a fenced shore, used by the Greek Navy. It is a semi-organized sandy beach with deep blue waters and sunbeds with umbrellas placed by the municipality of Poros. There is also a small canteen operating on the premises. The beach also has special equipment for mobility-impaired visitors, such as ramps and special platforms, as well as showers and toilets for all.

Even though it is very close to the town, locals prefer this beach because it offers a more peaceful experience, without being very crowded or having loud music.
