General information

Eginitissa Beach in Aegina: Eginitissa in southern Aegina is considered amongst the island’s best beaches. Spotted on a homonym bay, it is only a couple of kilometers away from Perdika village. Once a property of the Monastery of Chrysoleontissa, Eginitissa attracts large numbers of visitors, especially at weekends, and it is immensely popular with young people.

This seashore stands out by its beautiful surrounding vegetation, as countless eucalyptus trees come all the way down to the seashore, providing ample shade and giving off a divine aroma! Boasting golden sand and relatively shallow azure waters, Eginitissa is ideal for staying until late evening, as you will witness a magical sunset!

It is a well-organized beach equipped with lots of parasols, sun loungers, showers, and locker rooms. There is also a beach bar, where you can grab a quick bite to eat and enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink, as well as various other bars and taverns enticing visitors with exotic cocktails and trendy DJs! Other facilities include a beach volleyball and racket court, so beach tennis tournaments and parties are held here every summer. You can even take a yoga class, try yachting, parachuting, and paragliding, or learn stand-up paddleboarding and flyboarding. Furthermore, it is relatively simple to access, both by car and public transport, as there are regular local KTEL buses from the port towards Perdika.
