As this destination is not very popular for long holiday stays but mostly for day visits, things to do in Mycenae are limited. There are no organized things to do in Mycenae. The region is ideal for total relaxation in the countryside and for sightseeing in the ancient site.

An enjoyable activity in the region of Mycenae is hiking. Many old footpaths cross the region and lead to tiny chapels, small settlements, valleys and hilltops with a nice view. Hiking is best in autumn and spring when the weather is not so hot. In summer, long hiking can be quietly uncomfortable.
