Zante Run 2024

The 3rd Zante Run is one of Zakyntos’ biggest sporting events, centered around running and connecting through sports! The event will take place on 12 May 2024, hosting five races throughout the main town of Zakynthos, passing by some of its most important points of interest. The races are a half marathon (21 km), a children’s race (1km), a 5km and 10km race, as well as a 3.5 km challenge run through the Bohali Village, overlooking the main town. The races are organized accordingly, with snack and water provisions every 2.5 km, timing, and other activities to celebrate sports in Zakynthos! Also, all participants will be given a commemorative medal!

The organizers of Zante Run are hoping to make the event an annual occasion, so they can invite athletes from all over the world to participate in their competitions and help them get to know Zakynthos from a different perspective! The first event took place in September 2022 with the initial goal remaining the same, to come together through sports. Zante Run has been improving ever since, and has not lost any steam!
