Lefkada Gira beach

General information

Gira Beach in Lefkada, spotted next to the entrance of the island, is a continuation of Kastro and Ammoglossa beaches towards the western side of the coast. The shore hosts a lengthy area with coarse sand, some scattered pebbles, and clear blue waters, even though its deep, rock-filled seabed makes it a less-than-ideal choice for swimming youngins.

The beach destination of Gira is partly-organized, showcasing a handful of sun loungers and sun umbrellas, along with a couple of beach bars providing refreshing drinks, cocktail mixes, and various snacks! On top of that, Gira is a common meeting place for watersport lovers (especially those who enjoy windsurfing), whereas guests may also find a parking spot near the beach entrance!
