Thyme honey is the most famous product of Kythira with excellent taste and aromatic features. The island is characterized by extensive areas with olive trees. The cultivation of Olive oil was first traced thousands of years ago in the Mediterranean. Due to the good climate, the variety that grows mostly is called Koroneiki.
