General information

Kefalonia's Jerusalem Beach is located in the northern part of the island, less than 10 km from Fiscardo. It got its name from a centuries-old abandoned chapel that can still be seen on the seaside. During summer months, some fishermen use it as an alternative quay instead of the busier ones.

It is covered in pebbles and showcases turquoise crystal-clear waters. It is perfect for snorkeling as it has incredible marine life where seahorses can be observed. Additionally, it provides magnificent landscapes, especially during sunset.

A small part of the beach is organized with umbrellas and sun loungers to rent, but visitors can simply place their towels on the ground and enjoy nature. A tavern lies nearby, serving traditional Greek food while also featuring a freshwater shower. A second smaller beach is just a few steps away, perfect in case the first one gets crowded.
