Ferries to Corfu
Corfu is connected by ferry with many different ports.
Ferries to Corfu depart from Igoumenitsa on a daily basis. The duration of the trip is approximately 1h30 and there are available itineraries every 1-2 hours, which start early in the morning and end around midnight. Moreover, Corfu is reachable by ferry from Italy, particularly from the ports of Venice, Bari, and Ancona. These ferries are very convenient for Italian and central European passengers who want to travel in their car.
During the summer season, there is a small local ferry company that operates a hydrofoil called ‘Ilida II’ that carry only passengers between Corfu and Paxi island. The same company also offers a connection starting from the new port of Corfu to other Ionian islands (Paxi - Zakynthos – Kefalonia – Ithaki – Lefkada - Meganisi) with their motor vessel ‘Azimouthio’ that operates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
