obuyukozturk 27 Jul 2009Excellent placeThassos is one of the excellent place for visitors in Greece. It is not expensive, also very peacefull place.
I recommend to visit Potos and also the monastery and the monastery's beach. It is about 15 km far from Thassos, you will see a wonderfull beach and also a monastery very close to the beach.
If you like nightlife, Potos also is a good option.

gpeicheff 26 Nov 2007Potos is a very good place for relaxationVery good place for relaxation, but there should be more restaurants(taverns). There are many cafes and bars, but only a few places where you can have an Ouzo and dinner. ;)
Food in General is OK. There are 1-2 good taverns on the coast, and another one within the village. The bars are fine, but nothing different from anywhere.
I think the local authorities should pay more attention on the traditions. I hope it won't get too much commercial, although there are already signs for that.
