Located east of the island's airport, Iero Beach can be found near the Cave of Dionyssos. This small bay is one of the island's best remote beaches if you are looking for a place with a quiet atmosphere that does not get crowded. You can get there by car.
Iero is covered with pebbles and sand and its waters are crystal clear. There are no beach facilities at all and the few shady spots under the trees are usually taken. It is recommended to bring your own supplies.
The sea at this location is ideal for fishing and snorkeling. If you are into diving, keep in mind that a shipwreck is located west of the beach.
