• How can I get to my hotel from the airport?

Suburban bus stops are found right outside the Departures area of the airport. Buses departing from the airport may head towards the capital of Rhodes, the villages of Pastida and Maritsa, or various west-coast settlements.
Rhodes Town is connected with most villages, making it highly possible to reach your destination of choice with the help of a bus.
Furthermore, numerous taxis and rental cars can be found near the premises of the airport. If traveling with your own terms is up your alley, then you may book a transfer service or a rental car in advance, especially during the summertime. Contact the car agency of your choice and ask them to bring your vehicle to the airport or the port of Rhodes. Having your transfer arranged will save you tons of precious time and allow you not to miss a minute of your vacation!
Note that some hotels offer shuttle services, so you can contact your hotel in advance and ask about the pricing.

• How can I get to my hotel from the port?

Rhodes has two ports. In the case of the main port, a couple of urban bus stops are found around it, taking you around key points of the city. Also, the port is minutes from the KTEL and suburban buses, which you can use to travel towards your settlement of choice. Most routes are available throughout the year, thus if your hotel lies in the city center or one of the better-known settlements, you may easily reach it with the help of a bus. Additionally, taxis are available at the port, the airport, and the center of Rhodes Town, though due to the high number of incoming tourists (especially during the high season), finding a taxi can be difficult. Skala Kamirou is a remote port so having arranged a pickup is the best thing you can do.
Booking a transfer service or renting a car guarantees fast and convenient transportation. Car rental agencies can bring your selected vehicle to the port premises upon request, making it possible for you to use it immediately.
Again, try contacting your accommodation before reaching the island and ask if there's a shuttle service available.

• How can I get to Rhodes Town?

Rhodes Town can be reached by bus or private transfers from the airport, while the port is an integral part of the town.
In addition, Rhodes Town is the most widely-known and densely populated spot on the island, making it so bus itineraries are frequent enough, with more buses through the summer! Two main urban bus routes help residents and visitors move around the Town.

• How can I get to some of the finest beaches?

A rental car is the best choice for visiting several beaches. In case you would like to visit the most popular beaches, our organized tours allow you to combine swimming with a trip to sandy beaches, ancient monuments, tasty meals, and many more! Also, some bus itineraries can reach many of the island's known shores, with taxis always being a solid alternative.

• Can I rely on public means of transport?

Since buses connect the Town and other major centers with remote villages (with itineraries being more often in the summer), public transportation is a solid option. However, if you want to explore more remote spots with no time pressure, you may rent a car that fits your needs. Book your car with us!

• Are the distances between Rhodes Town and the touristy spots long?

Rhodes is one of the largest islands in Greece, so travel times may vary. Most settlements are easy to access, while travel duration can be from 10 minutes (from Town to Ixia) to over 2 hours.
