Most of the shops are concentrated in the town of Pigadia and are proposing all kinds of goods such as clothes, shoes, newspapers, books and various other items.
Shops proposing handmade souvenirs, hand-woven textiles, painted ceramics and plates, wood carvings, embroideries and local products can also be found in many of the picturesque mountainous and coastal villages of Karpathos.
