TOWN (Main village)
Staying in the main town and port of Tinos is very convenient and is where the vast majority of hotels are located. It is the center of life on the island and has many shops, bakeries, bars, cafes, and restaurants.
Although a very popular option for accommodation, the Town is less traditional than other parts of the island and is mainly chosen by visitors who travel just for a few days.
Most hotels in the Town are small apartments, suites, and rooms to let. The closest beach to the Town is Agali which is located within a short walk from the Town center. Agios Fokas is another beach close to the Town with numerous beach hotels ideal for families with children.

AGIOS IOANNIS PORTO
Many beach hotels are located in Agios Ioannis Porto. It is a nice coastal settlement with a sandy beach with shallow waters ideal for small children.
There are two beach bars offering snacks, drinks, and loungers with umbrellas. In the wider region, you will find family hotels and small apartments with proximity to the sea.

Kionia is a tourist coastal resort less than a 3km drive from the Port of Tinos. There are numerous coves and lengthy sandy beaches with clear waters. Regardless of the North winds that blow frequently in Tinos, the beaches in Kionia remain calm which makes it ideal for everyday swimming. Most hotels in Kionia are located on the beach offering direct access and uninterrupted views.

Last but not least, Panormos is another coastal settlement that is located on the north coast of the island and is a good option to stay for those who are looking for a relaxed holiday.
Staying in a house or an apartment in one of the villages of the mainland of Tinos is a very popular option when visiting the island. Tinos has an interesting architectural heritage that is very well preserved. House renovations are completed creating aesthetically beautiful lodgings while the villages have taverns and cafes that add a lively local note. If you opt-in for a stay in one of the Tinian villages, renting a car would be recommended in order to explore the rest of the island.
