29th Hermoupolis Guitar Festival

The annual five-day celebration of guitar and music, the 29th Hermoupolis Guitar Festival, will be taking place in the capital of Syros Island from July 6th to July 10th of 2023, hosting various entertaining events and world-class musicians!

Hermoupolis Guitar Festival includes plenty of concerts, recitals, competitions, masterclasses, and a majestic guitar orchestra. In addition, contests will be split into three categories based on age groups, whereas all winners will receive prizes such as honorary diplomas, discounts, prepaid gift cards, and possibly brand-new guitars! The festival serves as a prime opportunity for young musicians and prodigies to further explore their instruments, become accustomed to the stage, and learn from high-class professionals of classical guitar!

Past iterations of the Hermoupolis Guitar Festival have also included international guitar virtuosos, including the Wieczorek Trio, Daniel Marx, and the late David Grimes, as well as Greek music sensations Nefeli and Romanos Fasoulis, Angelos Nikolopoulos, Vassilis Kazoulis, and Vaggelis Germanos.
