Le Perroquet Tranquille is a lovely French bistro in the area of Possidonia, sitting just 200 meters from the shore of Voulgari Beach. It was founded in 2015 by Marc, born in Lyon and raised and raised in Toulon, France, and his wife Rika, a native-born woman of Syros, and has brought the French culinary flair to the island ever since!

The owners renovated an old farmhouse and transformed it into a neat and welcoming venue, where even the smallest detail matters! Combining the French rustic character with authentic Cycladic elements, the cozy indoor and charming outdoor spaces make all visitors feel like a friend accommodates them in their cottage house in southern France!

Cheese and charcuterie, mustard, herbs, and salt are imported from France, while Syros’ contribution to the kitchen is some local meats, fruits and vegetables.
In the morning, the bistro serves brunch, with options including the world-famous croque madame and croque monsieur. For lunch and dinner, the menu features excellent choices of French flavors, like moules frites, beef bourguignon, quiche lorraine, and blanquette. A platter (plateau) of French cheese or cold cuts is an excellent choice for nibbling, especially when accompanied with a glass of wine!
