Syros Grammata beach

The fascinating beach of Grammata in Syros is amongst the most northwestern spots on the island! This gem boasts a shore full of coarse sand mixed with lots of large pebbles, while its pristine, turquoise waters are ideal for swimming! Its name derives from the nearby Archaeological Site of Grammata!

A completely non-organized beach destination, Grammata has no facilities within hundreds of meters of its shore, so it is better to be well-prepared with food and refreshments before you begin your trip to the coast.

Rent a boat and moor on the shores of Grammata to enjoy the clear waters, or follow a rough off-road trail that leads you to this secluded and vegetated beach!
