Armeos Syros: The beach of Armeos is placed next to Galissas beach, on the western coast of the island, behind a hill. It is easy to be found and can be reached from Galissas on foot, although the access might require some rock climbing.
However, Armeos beach is much more tranquil and private than Galissas and it is very popular among nudists. The only detail that must be taken into account is that there are no facilities, so visitors should take their own supplies.
Armeos has large pebbles with small sections of sand and some rock formations. Another remarkable feature of this beach is that it is safe for children, since it is well-sheltered from strong winds. It is also great for snorkeling, as it has nice varieties of sea life under its waters. The cave-church of Agios Stefanos is within a walking distance from Armeos beach and certainly worth to visit.
