How to get to Schinoussa?

There is a quite regular ferry connection between Schinoussa and Piraeus port in Athens, as ferry routes are carried out about 3 times per week.
The trip lasts approximately 8 hours.
You can also reach Schinoussa from Naxos and Amorgos by a local ferry known as "Skopelitis" which departs for the islands of the Small Cyclades almost every day and connects Schinoussa with Naxos, Iraklia, Koufonisia, Donoussa, and Amorgos.

There is no airport on the island of Schinoussa. The closest one is Naxos National Airport "Apollon", which receives domestic flights from Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos". The trip from Athens to Naxos by plane lasts about half an hour. "Apollon" airport does not receive any flights from abroad.
The airport is located close to Agios Prokopios, about 3 km away from Naxos Town. Upon your arrival in Naxos, you can take the ferry to Schinoussa and reach your destination within 2 hours.
