Santorini is a Greek island that belongs to the Cyclades complex. Strategically located in the Aegean Sea, it is a very popular holiday destination among both natives and foreigners. Also referred to as Thira, this is the place where one of the biggest volcanic eruptions in history occurred. Over the last few years, Oia has become a special place for free running, also known as parkour.

Perissa, on the southern side, is among the most famous beaches on Santorini, boasting black pebbles and clean waters. The ruins of Ancient Thera lie on a hill above Perissa and provide the most breathtaking views. Kamari is another popular beach resort on the island, ideal for a leisurely stroll - so is Perivolos. The calm environment, water sports, and turquoise waters are the trump cards of the beaches. The most famous beach, however, is the Red beach, with hot waters and black and red volcanic pebbles.
