Location: Chora

Founded in 2004, Liotrivi is a family-owned traditional tavern located in Anafi. It is housed in one of the oldest motorized oil mills on the island, where most of the oil production would take place for over 100 years. The kitchen of the restaurant used to be the main production room, while an oil press dating back to the 1930s has been preserved. That is where the establishment also got its name from, as liotrivi means “oil mill”.

Its spot on the hillside allows incredible panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. There are seating areas both indoors and outdoors, while the building showcases the classic Cycladic style of white and blue. It is also decorated with unique colorful murals.

The tavern specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, specifically seafood. The menu changes daily based on what fresh fish is available from each catch. Additionally, the owners produce many of the ingredients for the recipes, such as vegetables and herbs, while they fish themselves, as well. Guests can accompany their meal with a glass of exquisite local wine or another traditional beverage. They will also find a wide variety of salads, starters and vegetarian options.
