An integral part of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center is a unique establishment in the Attica region, boasting state-of-the-art equipment in its contemporary facilities in order to offer visitors deluxe and interactive experiences centered around Greek and international culture!

Hosted inside an impressive, modernly-designed building, Hellenic Cosmos showcases its legendary, well-renowned semi-sphere dome called Tholos! An exciting virtual reality theater, this dome is used to present otherworldly shows and screenings regarding topics and sights of ancient and present-day Greece while, at the same time, creating a direct link for interference between the presentation and the viewer! On top of that, guests will spot a plethora of conference rooms and spacious areas that host educational talks, live performances, art events, science projects, and exciting workshops throughout the calendar year!

Next to the main building of Hellenic Cosmos, the immense structure of THEATRON offers a perfect house for theatrical plays, movie screenings, and large-scale experiences! Stop by this cultural center and explore an array of available exhibitions in both impressive buildings! Moreover, a visit to Hellenic Cosmos will grant you access to its museum shop, where you will spot plenty of informative books, DVDs, 3D-printed toys, interactive items, and various gifts to purchase!

The cultural center of Hellenic Cosmos is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00, and Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00.

How to get there

There are many ways to reach Hellenic Cosmos from any location in Athens.

Private transfers: We recommend using an online pre-booked transfer service, which provides transfer by taxi, minibus, or private VIP car and arranging a pickup directly from the port, airport, or your hotel. Alternatively, there’s the option of arranging a pickup by a local driver directly at the following numbers: (0030) 18288, (0030) 18222, (0030) 18180. You can also book your taxi online.

Car rental: There is the option of renting a car and picking it up directly from the airport, port, or your hotel. Using a rental car allows visitors to discover ABC and many other places of interest in Athens at their own pace.

By metro: The closest metro station is Kallithea (Green Line). Note that in order to reach Hellenic Cosmos from the metro, a 12-minute walk is needed. Get a map of the metro here.
