Sweet Summer Sun Music Festival

An evening filled with dynamic sets and world-renowned Jazz acts, Sweet Summer Sun Music Festival is ready to take place on July 6th, 2023, in the area of Technopolis in Gazi, one of Athens’ main cultural centers!

Seamlessly blending the likes of jazz, rock, blues, and funk, the supergroup The Aristocrats are the big headliners of this set! Starting off as a one-off project, the trio of Guthrie Govan, Marco Minnemann, and Brian Beller shortly realized that they had the potential to create a boundary-pushing, innovative act that combines virtuosic tendencies with a deep understanding and love for music! Having recorded four studio LPs and a handful of live records, they are ready to shake up Technopolis!

The exciting Take Off Collective first met each other at the campus of the great Berklee College of Music, and now they combine their expertise to create new soundscapes and inspire up-and-comers! Featuring bassist Matt Garrison, drummer Marko Djordjevic, and sax player Ole Mathisen, the trio promises an electric performance full of jazz fusion sounds with rock undertones!

Finally, the two openers of the evening will be the Greek-based acts of NUKeLEUS Trio and Soulstice! Soulstice is an all-female quartet that focuses on reworking vintage swing classics, whereas the three members of NUKeLEUS offer an interesting mix of jazz with contemporary classical music and shades of metal!
