Panepistimiou Avenue Athens: Panepistimiou Ave runs parallel to Stadiou and Akademias avenue. It is one of the main roads in the centre of Athens stretching across the two principal squares of the city, Syntagma and Omonia square.

Panepistimiou street covers a great part of the city's life including all the major banks, ministerial seats, esteemed universities, travel agencies and fashionable boutiques.

Some shoppig arcades are found along its length, several museums and historical buildings such as the National Library, the Greek University and other sights.The long road starts in Amalias Ave and ends at Alexandras Ave.
