Athens Thespis

Thespis is a great eating place in Plaka, located under the foot of the Acropolis. Opened in 1979, this tavern is only a walking distance from Syntagma, the Acropolis, the new museum and the temple of Olympian Zeus. The outdoor area has many trees and offers good shade for a hot summer day.

In a paved street away from the noise of the city center, Thespis is a lovely place to have a meal. The service and the environment of the restaurant are good. They serve dishes from Greek cuisine and also offer great ouzo and house wine. The owners are very friendly and open to welcome you throughout the year.
