The picturesque island of Spetses and especially the capital are particularly charming and attract many visitors every year. The town of Spetses is divided in neighbourhoods; Dapia is the new port, while Baltiza is the old port area. Kastelli is the oldest neighbourhood with traditional two-storey houses, Analipsi with the homonymous chapel is near the Old Port, and Kounoupitsa is a bit further.
