Standing on the hill of Elonas, this whitewashed chapel shining bright among the pine trees is situated in one of the most characteristic locations of mountainous Spetses, next to some ruined farmhouses and the tomb of the 19th-century monk Akakios Koutsis, who used to offer hunters hospitality when the island was renowned for its small game.

The annual celebration is on the day of Mother of God of the Living Spring, on Easter Sunday.
