Moundros village Lemnos: Moudros is the second biggest town of Lemnos and its second harbour.
It used to be the capital of the island and it has a population of about 1000 inhabitants. It is located 27 kilometres east of Myrina.
This town was the base of operation for the Greek fleet during the Balkan Wars and for the allied forces during World War I.
Moudros has various cafes and taverns as well as many accommodations. |
