Ferries to/ from Agios Kirikos
Agios Kyirikos, the capital of the island, is connected to Piraeus in about 10 hours. Moreover, is is connected to Kavala, to the north of Greece, in 20 hours by normal ferry. These two itineraries also connect Ikaria to other Aegean islands, such as Chios (5 hours), Fourni, a small neighbouring island, (40 minutes), Samos (2 hours to Karlovasi and 2 hours and a half to Vathi), Mykonos (3 hours) and Lemnos (16 hours). The duration of these itineraries may change, depending on the speed of the vessel.
Ferries to/ from Evdilos
Ikaria is also linked to other Greek areas through the port of Evdilos, to the north of the island. Evdilos is linked to Piraeus in 5 hours as well as to Samos (karlovasi in 1 hour and Vathi in 2 hours), Syros (3 hours) and Mykonos (2 hours). The duration of the itinerary many change, depending on the speed of the vessel.
