Patmos transportation
Information about transportation in Patmos

Patmos is a small island but well-developed in tourism. There are regular buses from Skala to Chora, where you can see the Monastery of Saint John and the Cave of Apocalypse. There are also buses to few beaches around the island. Along the port of Skala, tourists can find many car and motorbike rentals. Renting a bike is the easiest way to get around Patmos, as the road network is pretty good.

Few taxis are available in Patmos, especially at the port station of Skala. In high season, there are also boats that depart for excursions in close islands. In particular, there are boats to Leros-Lipsi and the secluded islands of Arki-Marathi. Book your taxi online!
