Syros Kommenou beach

General information

The isolated beach of Kommenou in northeastern Syros is a beautiful coast filled with large pebbles and some coarse sand near the waters, though one may spot lots of washed-up seaweed, too!
It features a mesmerizing, crystal-clear sea and a seabed with rocks near the beach, which turns into fine sand in deeper waters!

Kommenou is a non-organized beach since it offers a complete absence of tourist infrastructure! In addition, visitors to Kommenou Beach will spot a small-sized building right behind the pebbly shore, as well as a couple of boats.

Moreover, Kommenou is surrounded by large rocks, thus making it a seashore with not a lot of tides!
