Standing on the northwestern edge of Katapola Bay, the Old Lighthouse of Amorgos is considered to be one of the oldest in all of Greece! Built in 1882, this lighthouse is characterized by its round tower boasting a simple, white-colored metal framework.
On top of that, the imposing, stone-built tower on-site showcases its fantastic semi-ruined, beautiful interior and exterior designs that are in dire need of restoration! The site is reachable on foot from the center of Katapola, should you prefer a hike of medium difficulty.
