Aegina Fistiki Festival

It was back in 2008 when lovers of the world-famous Aegina Pistachio (the unique pistachio variety that is also a PDO product) gathered and started the so-called Aegina Fistiki Fest. From then onwards the festival takes place every year in late September and constitutes a unique opportunity to celebrate the renowned nut.
Visitors will enjoy the four-day festivities, as they will have the opportunity to taste amazing dishes and delicacies that use main ingredient the Aegina pistachio as well as showcase its unique taste and qualities. Other local products are introduced to the public, and one can also purchase hand-crafted creations. The festival includes interactive activities and hosts many well-known artists.
