18th Crossing of Dragoudeli

The rocky peaks of the Mount Itamos mountain range, a protected NATURA 2000 site, will once again be the host to the 18th yearly crossing of Dragoudeli on the 22nd of October, 2023!

This one-day festival, focusing solely on the celebration of nature and physical exercise, will introduce adults and young people to the mountainous municipality of Sithonia! Beginning as early as 08:30 in the morning, participants will need to be at their designated starting point to take part in one of a total of eight hiking routes or the dedicated off-road cycling route of Dragoudeli!

Offering a unique chance to connect with rural Northern Greece and raise awareness of all things tied with it, all routes of the Dragoudeli crossing will have the same destination, that being the traditional settlement of Parthenonas! On top of that, Parthenonas Village will also have refreshing drinks for all participants, as well as house a fully-fledged celebration with groups performing traditional dances!
