Karydi beach Halkidiki: Karydi Beach is located 53 km south east of Poligiros, on the Vourvourou bay in Sithonia, the central peninsula of Halkidiki. It is famous for its outstandingly beautiful landscape. The beach sits towards the end of Vourvourou and it is a mix of rocky outcroppings on stretches of fine white sand. The deep green waters of the beach are very clear and shallow enough to make it a safe natural bay for children to swim. The beachfront has several taverns with fresh seafood and traditional dishes.
