General information

Mesovrika Beach Paxi: If you love secluded undeveloped beaches and have no problem with shingle, then Mesovrika beach on Antipaxos island will match your liking. It is a small cove on the north east side of the island, nestled between the popular beaches of Voutoumi and Vrika.

There is no sand to be found which is why most yacht and tour boat visitors prefer the two sandy beaches on the sides. The beach conists of white pebbles and large shingles.

Rocks extend on both side of the cove, offering a feeling of isolation, despite the constant presence of private yachts. Apart from swimming, snorkeling is also popular near the rocks. There are no facilities in Mesovritika area, other than the daytime taverns at Vrika or Voutoumi which are just a five minute stroll on the paths to the sides. They serve meals and also rent sun beds and parasols.

The panoramic views across the bay of Paxi and the mainland are just magnificent. Boats can be rented and taxi boats connect Gaios, Lakka or Loggos to the nearby beaches that attract many visitors from the neighbour island of Corfu.
