How to get to Meganisi?

Meganisi is connected by ferry only with the port of Nydri in Lefkada. The routes are carried out frequently, on a daily basis, all year round and the trip lasts 20 minutes.

There is no airport in Meganisi. The closest one is located in Preveza, a lovely town on the Greek mainland in Epirus. Aktion National Airport receives flights from Corfu and Zakynthos all year round, while during summer there are many extra flights from various locations around Europe. Notice that no flights from Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" to Aktion National Airport are carried out.
From Preveza, you can easily reach Lefkada by KTEL bus or by taxi, since the island is linked to the mainland with a bridge. You can find further information about timetables of KTEL buses on www.ktelprevezas.gr.
From Lefkada, you can reach Meganisi by ferry from the port of Nydri.
