Diaplo is a small uninhabited island in the Ionian Sea. It belongs to Corfu Prefecture and the island complex of Diapontian islands.
Church of Agios Nikolaos
On the northern side of Mathraki, there is the small church of Saint Nicolas, protector of the seafarers, as most residents in Mathraki occupy with fishing.

In Diaplo islet, there is a small church dedicated to Saint Nicolas. The legend says that Saint Nicolas once petrified a pirate ship when they tried to devastate Mathraki. The ship was turned into the three rocky islets Plaka, Lispo, and Karavi next to Diaplo.
