The Old Car Friends union is organizing the 37th INTERNATIONAL RALLY on the island of Samos, Eastern Aegean. The participations are almost 100 and the crews come from Greece, Cyprus, other European countries and Turkey. The cars the will parade at the start point on Thursday morning, 25th of September, cover the biggest part of the car history, from the constructions of ‘20s to those of 1970.
The technical control will be processed at the waterfront of Samos town at 10.00 a.m., while the start will be 2 hours later.
15 proof-tests of 70 km will show the winner, while the participants are covering a route of 300km within 3 days. The villages of Kastania, Karlovasi and Platanos will be the passages of the cars for the first day. The middle competition part will take place in Marathokambos Bay, through Pythagoreio and Pagonda, while the last and 3rd part in Kokkari.
The winners are awarded Saturday night on the 27th, during an official ceremony.
