Ouzo Fest

Ouzo Fest in Lesvos is an event organized for the first time 5 years ago. After its great success, it takes place every summer in the beautiful island of Lesvos and attracts many local and foreign visitors! From 6 until 7 of August it takes place in Plomari and from 8 until 9 of August it takes place in Mitilene.
During the festival, people have the chance to get to know ouzo, the famous Greek dry anise-flavored aperitif. What’s more, over 40 ouzo labels will be available for ouzo tasting.
But there’s more!
The visitors of the festival can also try some of the most famous dishes of Lesbos, as parallel events related to gastronomy are taking place. All the above, are perfectly matched with traditional Greek music and dances!
This will hands down be a festival to remember!
