Mytilini Municipality Music Festival 2024

For the first time, Mytilene is hosting its own music festival from July 25th to August 4th, 2024. Aspiring to be an event of an international nature, the festival aims not only to help the island gain popularity but also to help immigrants adapt and feel included through art and culture.
A variety of music shows will take place, along with other cultural events incorporating music, such as dance, theater, etc.

Outstanding performances will be held by the choir of Larnaca, which is an honorary guest, along with the choir of Mytilene. In addition, tributes to the great Greek poets Elytis and Karyotakis will take place, as well as classical music concerts, recitals, and performances from the Music School of Lesvos. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy some delightful classical and contemporary music at one of the most promising music festivals of the year!

The festival will follow three directions: Concerts by renowned artists and amateur ensembles, music seminars taught by acclaimed musicians, and an international contest of composition and musical performance.
