Molyvos International Music Festival

From August 16th to August 19th, a special festival that celebrates classical music will take place at one of the most amazingly beautiful villages of Greece, Molyvos, located on Lesvos. During this unique festival that will last four days, you will have the opportunity to listen to prestigious and world-famous musicians, along with new ones.The meaning that the second International Music Festival wants to convey is that music has the ability to connect and inspire all the people in the world. Its theme is suggestively called “ Crossroads”.
And it does take place at a cultural “crossroad”, that is to say Lesvos. This festival’s scenery is breathtaking. Molyvos, (or Mithymna) has been inhabited since antiquity and it is, undoubtedly, alluring. Do not miss the chance to walk through its cobblestone alleys and visit the fascinating castle placed at the top of Molyvos’ hill. Note, that concerts will be held in the castle, but also in the village. Ferries arrive to the island from Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Chios and other islands.
Lastly, during the festival you will have the opportunity to hear for the first time Hochman’s “Nedudim”.
