3rd Festival of Taste and Tradition

The 3rd Festival of Taste and Tradition 2008 will take place on Sunday, 29th of June at 19.00 on Patmos island, at the port of Patmos. The islands of Kalymnos, Leros, Agathonisi and Lipsi will participate to the feast. It will be a feast of tasteful culture, where you will get to know the islands' products.
The program of the Festival of taste and Tradition 2008 includes a tasting competition, where the three best out of the four food categories Meat, Fish, Olive Oil Dishes, and Sweets. The price will be a small ceramic handmade pot, miniature of the traditional pot.
All the recipes will be included in a specific edition of the Dodecanese Prefecture. Among the tasters will be several awarded restaurant owners, while the popular TV personality and cook Mrs. Vefa Alexiadou will be also present at the event.
Traditional music and dances will be presented by local dance and music groups and there will be plenty of food and wine for everybody.
