I spent a week in Porfyris hotel in August 2012 and it was a very pleasant staying. The hotel is comfortable, very close to the central square of Mandraki, in a very quiet area. There is a nice swimming-pool where you can spend relaxing moments. There is also a big terrace where you can have breakfast. The owners are very kind. Mandraki is a charming, traditional village right on the sea, and the whole island of Nisyros is wonderful, in my opinion.
