One of the most secluded islands of the Aegean Sea, Lipsi distinguishes for the traditional charm and the relaxing beaches. Not developed in tourism, Lipsi is an ideal destination to totally unwind. The only thing to do in Lipsi is actually swimming in nice beaches, some of which are naturist. Apart from a couple of beaches that are found close to the main town, the rest of the beaches in Lipsi are accessible through a longer hike. Kambos, Elena, Katsadia and Hohlakoura are nice places to swim. An important sight in Lipsi is the church of Panagia Harou, protector of the island.

The church of Panagia Charou (Virgin Mary of Death) is set in a lovely surrounding, on the way to the beach of Hohlakoura. This is one of the oldest churches, built in 1600 by monks from the monasteries of Patmos island.

Description: Tourkomnima is a secluded cove on the south eastern side of the island of Lipsi. It is located right next to Hohlakoura beach.
