Kos Agios Fokas beach

General information

Agios Fokas is a picturesque beach located 3.5 km from the famous thermal springs on the beach of Thermes. The biggest part of the beach is covered with black sand and pebbles, with a smaller part consisting of fine white sand. Visitors can enjoy an excellent view of the Aegean, especially during the afternoon and night hours.

The beach is very well organized and offers a collection of umbrellas and sunbeds to rent. The on-site beach bar serves refreshing drinks and snacks to enjoy from the comfort of your sunbed. Traditional taverns and cafes serving authentic Greek delicacies can be found near the beach, as well as some accommodation options.

Agios Fokas is usually less congested than other beaches of Kos, making it the ideal destination for a quiet day away from bigger crowds. It is reachable by car or taxi and buses run frequently from Kos Town.
